Professional American football player Mike Davis was born on February 19, 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia. He serves as a running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He ran track and played football at Stephenson High School in Georgia. After high school, he attended the University of South Carolina although he had initially pledged to attend the University of Florida. He became the starting running back in 2013 after the departure of Marcus Lattimore.

He was drafted by the 49ers in May 2015. Mike Davis’ debut was on September 2015 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has a brother, James Davis, who also played college football and in the National Football League.
